Every business gets a bookable page at bookwik.app/book/your-business. Clients pick a service, see real open slots computed from your staff schedules, buffers and existing bookings, and confirm in a couple of taps. Bookings are written atomically, so double-bookings simply cannot happen.
Integrated online payments
Clients pay by card, bank transfer or USSD at checkout, processed by Bachs. Taking payment up front puts skin in the game, which is the single biggest lever on no-shows. You stop chasing payments in DMs.
Automatic payouts to your bank
Your 95% share settles into your Bookwik payment account the same day, and Bachs pays it out to the bank account you registered — usually within an hour. There is no withdraw button and nothing to reconcile by hand.
Client management
Every booking builds a client profile with booking history, preferences and contact details. You can see your regulars, their spend and their no-show history instead of losing it inside a chat thread.
Staff, services and availability

A flat 5% per order — not a subscription, not a 20% commission
Bookwik is free to join with no monthly fee: we take 5% of each completed order and you keep 95%. The global tools bill very differently — Fresha keeps its base free but takes a 20% commission on new marketplace clients, Vagaro charges roughly $24–$85 per month, Booksy around $70 per month, and GlossGenius about $24 per month plus processing. A business taking ₦500,000 in a month pays Bookwik ₦25,000, which is a fraction of what any of those models costs.
No website required — and none of the ₦500,000 build
A custom booking website in Nigeria typically costs ₦500,000–₦2,000,000 upfront, plus ₦50,000 or more a month to host and maintain, and takes three to six months to ship. Bookwik gives you a bookable page, integrated payments and client management in about fifteen minutes, for free up front.
Built for Nigeria, not adapted for it
Payments run through Bachs with Naira amounts, local cards, bank transfer and USSD, and payouts land in a Nigerian bank account. Fresha, Vagaro, Booksy and GlossGenius are built for Western markets, with no local payout rail and pricing set for Western wallets.
We only make money when you make money
Our revenue comes from the 5% on completed orders, so our incentives sit exactly where yours do. When your calendar is empty we earn nothing — unlike subscription tools such as WithSplice or Vagaro, where the monthly invoice arrives whether you booked anyone or not.
Reference images and "any available staff" booking
Clients can attach a photo of the style they want and let the system assign any available provider. Neither the global platforms nor early local tools offer both, and it removes the biggest source of back-and-forth DMs before a booking is even made.
Verification and reviews build real trust
Every business completes KYC verification before its page goes live, and verified businesses carry real reviews from real appointments. Very early local options like Glown skip that trust layer, which is exactly what makes customers hesitant to prepay online.

Ifeanyi Aladi — Founder
Ifeanyi Aladi founded Bookwik in 2026 and leads the product and engineering behind the platform. He started Bookwik after watching talented service businesses across Lagos lose booked revenue to missed calls, unanswered DMs and payment chases — and realising the tools that solved this elsewhere were priced, designed and paid out for other markets.
Today Bookwik is still run as a small team across product, engineering and support, with the deliberate choice to onboard businesses one-by-one rather than at scale. That is why the person answering your support email is often the person who wrote the booking flow you are asking about.

Onboarding takes about fifteen minutes
Register your business, verify it, then add your services, staff and working hours. Your booking page goes live with your own bookwik.app link, which you can share on Instagram, WhatsApp or anywhere else. There is no developer involved at any step.
Verification (KYC) keeps the marketplace trustworthy
Before going live you submit your business registration details and ID documents, and a member of our team reviews them — we deliberately check every business by hand rather than waving them through. You get an email either way, and you can start preparing your services and availability while you wait.
Who you work with
Bookwik is a small, founder-led team based in Lagos covering product, engineering and support. Because the team is small, the person who answers your support email is often the same person who built the feature you are asking about.
How we communicate
Support runs through support@bookwik.app, the contact form on our support page, and the support inbox inside your admin dashboard. We typically respond within 24 hours on business days, and you always get a ticket reference so nothing gets lost.
Getting paid
When a customer's payment settles, your share lands in your Bookwik account the same day and Bachs pays it out automatically to your registered bank account, usually within an hour. A flat ₦50 bank-transfer fee applies to each payout, and balances under ₦1,050 wait for the next payment rather than handing most of it to the transfer fee.

Customers can book through your dedicated booking page, through the Bookwik marketplace, through a share link you send directly, or through the widget embedded on your own website. Every route feeds the same calendar and the same payments dashboard.
